Are you privileged?

I was a spectator for a conversation going on between 2 people discussing their issues pertaining to jobs, careers, business, politics which went so deep that it leads them to discuss their luck too and chances of success too. Over their discussion, I could understand that they were graduates, holding iPhones, sitting a cool ventilated place, and in fact talking in English neatly dressed which showed some grooming and their background they would belong to. I was astonished yet surprised because I couldn't match up to their topics of discussion to the privileges they carried(as mentioned in the second paragraph). Little did they could realize that they belonged to the top 5% of India's population who were enjoying privileges when compared to the other 95% which are striving each hard each day to get those privileges. Businesses are trying to be smarter, sharper and fiercer than ever before. That's why skills are important and so is the ability to learn new things quickly.  If people don't move forward, they stay outdated and eventually become unemployed and will be an NPA - Non-Performing Asset. These tech companies have also announced pink slips to their employees too, the reason being unproductive, not adding value, outdated skills, and gi

Are you in your comfort zone?

Some people want to  stay  in the comfort zone . Some people want to take risks. What kind of person are you? You like to take risks? Or do you want to  stay  comfortable? People who  stay  in a comfort zone , like being comfortable. But they also pay a price for that  comfort . The price is being mediocre. People who always  stay  in their comfort zone  will  not  achieve anything big in life. They do  not  get to the edge of their comfort zone , but all growth happens at the edge of your comfort zone . Everyone has a creative gift. Creating new things is what makes human life meaningful. Human life is enriched by music, movies, businesses, apps, tools, software, technology and so on. If you are  not  adding to that enrichment by being a creator yourself, you are missing out on your potential as a human being. Most of the people are stuck in jobs where they do  not  create something new. You need to take risks to pursue a career where your creation can take shape. People who are plac
